We were reminiscing today about our trip to California. We were mostly talking about the beach, but it reminded me of the picture above and the last video here of Kaylee running the bases at the Little League Western Regionals in California when she was 4 years old!
Kaylee had a fun first season of baseball! We requested her same coaches that she had for basketball because they were so good to her then and they were awesome to her in baseball too! She struggled at the beginning of the season trying to hit off that machine. The last half of the season went much better! She had a good time and learned a lot! Mostly to keep trying and not give up and get frustrated. With a little extra practice (and bribery by one of her coaches) :) she ended up having a pretty successful season!! It's also pretty fun to have a couple of your very best friends on the team! (our family (cough...Emily...cough) is also pretty fond of the bat boy standing next to Kaylee. :)
