LCC Spring 2014 Shows

Usually the title of my May post is "May Mayhem", but my May picture folder really doesn't look too overwhelming.  Either we learned how to handle the craziness that this month can be, or I just enjoyed the ride and didn't take as many pictures!  :)

Our big focus in May are the Lehi Children's Choir spring shows!  3 shows in 4 days!  So fun!
The Younger Choir did Dinostars!  Kierra was a Diplodocus!  She is a fantastic singer and dancer and did great telling her joke.  "What do you get when you cross a pig with a dinosaur??  JURASSIC PORK!"  :)

Kaylee and Emily were both in the older choir show called S'cool!
(their videos are too big for the blog so I had to upload them to youtube)
Emily was the girl that is so in love and always ditches her friends for her boyfriend!  The boy she sang and danced with filled in for us at the very last minute and did a great job!

Kaylee was the math teacher and part of the administrators!  Always trying to solve the kids problems and convince them that being a great teacher is the perfect profession to aspire to.  :)

We are so thankful that the Lehi Children's Choir is such a huge part of our life and our family!  Even my brother and parents are very involved...Dale is the choreographer and my parents come every year!  We have great memories together and we've made the greatest friends!  We love the Stambaugh family!  Catherine is the greatest director!  She loves the kids so much!  The kids are easy to love though!  We love LCC!!

April 2014

Well look at that...I really haven't blogged since I got my new calling.  I sure miss being around the young women all the time but I absolutely LOVE being in relief society.  I have felt busy, but I definitely shouldn't be too busy to at least throw these pictures on here and journal a little bit. I can't decide what to do about the blog.   I really love the blog.  I haven't printed a book in so long, but I love that the girls love to get on the computer and not only see the pictures, but also read about all we have done.  I would much rather blog in real time instead of always trying to catch up.  I would be able to write more detail...and really talk about what we are up to.  For that reason I've wondered if the rest of 2014 would just be in folders on a computer while I start with a fresh 2015.  I don't know.  The other big question is always do I keep it public or make it private?  Oh decisions...but for now...I guess I'll continue on with April and see what progress I can make.

April always starts with General Conference weekend!!

This year a couple of our Texas cousins came to go to the Priesthood session so it was fun to see them!
Emily hadn't been to conference yet so we were finally able to get her some tickets so she could go!  She couldn't wait to see our Prophet, President Monson, and she was so excited when it was announced that she was going to be able to listen to President Uchtdorf in person.  The kids love him sooooo much!  It was fun for her to have Mom and Dad all to herself.  We walked around temple square and ran into one of Uncle Dale's friends from Idaho's Starlight Mountain Theater!  It was such a beautiful day and  a sweet time with Emily.  :)

NEXT...the biggest excitement of the month!!  BRACES!!  The girls couldn't wait!!  Here are some before pictures!

DURING (we sure love Dr. Watson...kinda helps that he's a Wyoming guy)
AFTER...look at those happy excited faces!!
AND THEN.....2 HOURS AFTER!  He he he!!  :)  Not so happy now...but still as cute as ever!

And here are a bunch of random April pictures!  Not sure how many to post...but here it goes:

And last but not least, watching our favorite senior head off to prom!  I LOVE that I got to do Sadie's hair!  One of my favorite things to do!!  She was stunning!
So that wasn't as overwhelming as I thought.  I'm now into May...yay!!  :)
