Family Home Evening Night

Monday nights have been so fun lately as the girls seem to always come home with some fun activity that they did at church the day before. They have the BEST primary leaders, teachers choristers etc!! They get so excited to teach us what they have learned, be in charge and run the show!

Last Monday Daddy got to pick the activity! Squares for our square foot garden. We have never done a garden this way before, but for the longest time Matt has wanted to try it. Hopefully I'll be on the ball and continue to take pictures of the beginning, middle and end of our gardening season. We are very excited to be outside again!

These 2 have fun just going along with whatever the plan is!

So what will tomorrow's family home evening bring? (No pressure primary teachers....but Emily has the lesson and Kierra has the activity) :)

Solo Festival

Kaylee had her solo piano festival on March 6. She did such a great job (even with her sister screaming in the background). Here she is in a picture with her friend Cassidy who she did the duet festival with. These girls are so super talented and pretty cute too! There will be more pictures of them soon as they "STAR" in our choir performance in May! :)

Dr. Parker

We LOVE Dr. Parker!! He delivered Kierra and Thomas and has been there through some hard times too. Click HERE to read a pretty cool article about him delivering 7000 babies. He is so wonderful that it ALMOST makes me want to have another before he retires.....ummm....or we could just buy him tickets to the symphony instead!

Hmmm...What is Kierra's favorite movie these days?!

Once There Was a Snowman

I LOVED waking up to the snow this morning. However, this snow will come and melt away in the amount of time it takes to sing Once There Was A Snowman. So here is a longer version for you! (sorry--pause the music on the right) This is our favorite! You should see Kierra sing and dance to it! It's hilarious! ENJOY!!

February Finale

Some February Randomness

**McDonald's after Kaylee's final basketball game**
**Realizing I really needed to get the bumper pads fixed--I actually fixed them that day!**
**Having Arthur in our home for a couple of days and taking him to choir**
**Kaylee losing her first silver tooth (we might have to frame that expensive thing)**
**Taking in a Wyoming Cowgirl basketball game**
**Going out to dinner with cousins**
**...and the last pictures we just don't want to talk about...**
(Ok fine we'll be happy for them--they won't be THAT far away!)

BOMBS away!!

I am so very excited to start this challenge today! Check out our Stake Young Women's website at www.bookofmormonblitz.blogspot.com (it is also on the right hand side of my blog). 147 days until the challenge to read the Book of Mormon will be complete and we will be at Girls Camp!! I LOVE THIS reading chart! It is pretty simple with just 1 or 2 chapters a day. This is an invitation for anyone to join us!!

Here is a quote about the Book of Mormon that I love and stole from the website:

The prophet Joseph Smith declared: “the Book of Mormon [is] the most correct book of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion.” He said that “a man [or young woman] would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.” (History of the Church, 4:461.)
