It seems that school starts earlier and earlier every year! August 21st?! That is the middle of August! That is too early! But the girls were very excited and ready! The week before school starts everyone anxiously waits for the school to post what teacher and track the girls have! We couldn't have been happier with the results! The track we wanted, great teachers and friends in every class!
The big day was finally here and look at what Taylor woke up to! Some little mosquito had quite the feast on her face! Poor girl! But she was still all smiles! :)
The girls were too beautiful and happy!
Thomas wasn't quite awake yet as we took the traditional family pictures (including our other "sister" who we LOVE having in our home every morning)!
HEY!! Thomas just woke up! Gather right here for one last picture! :)
I LOVE that the girls love to ride their bikes to school and every day Thomas and Kierra were right with them...riding to the corner of the street and then coming right back as the older girls went on.
On the first day we kept going though to try to get a couple of other pictures! We still can't believe Taylor and her bestie are in the same class this year! These two are pretty inseparable as it is!
Then we came home...daddy went off to work...and we played games!
Had picnics!
Went to the park with friends...
And every once in a while got naps in!
We were even lucky enough to get invited to a little firehouse field-trip.
The girls started bringing home projects:
Having daddy doughnut dates
And Crazy Hair Days!
The days start getting cooler and the jackets come on, but off to school they go every day...with the little ones saying good-bye! We miss them all the time! We LOVE when they came riding back from around the corner and walk in the front door. Our days can be hectic and not always perfect. In fact...Isaac was born
10 days after the 1st day of school, so really...we've had some crazy days...but
these girls are amazing! They work hard and get things done on their own! I'm thankful everyday for the great school and amazing teachers they have and for how much they learn and grow every year! :)
