Count your many blessings

We took a quick trip to Wyoming a little over a week ago and I am always amazed at how blessed we are to make that long trek safely to see so much of our family. It was wonderful to have all of my family together, even for just one night! I am thankful everyday for sisters that I love and need to talk to and that I grow closer to all of the time, brothers that keep us and our children constantly entertained, and Mom and Dad who love us and would do anything for us and our family! We were also able to see many, many old and new friends that have been such a blessing to our family for so many years. It was a wonderful weekend!

At first we thought we'd be too busy to do much of a birthday celebration on Saturday, Matt's actual birthday, which is why we celebrated the Monday before. Well, Matt ended up a little extra spoiled sharing a cake with my brother in Laramie and then having another party the next day at his sister's in Cheyenne! We spent our 2nd night there playing games and watching movies with cousins and new friends!

Someone in our house is always losing a tooth and it seems to always happen anywhere but at our own home! Luckily the tooth fairy always knows where to find us!

The kids had fun seeing soooo many cousins on this trip!
We wish we all lived closer....especially to those that can build castles for all of the princesses!

Another successful trip to Wyoming and back!

The roads were great!

We even added a little adventure by trying to make it clear across Wyoming (Cheyenne to Evanston) on one tank of gas! We decided the head wind was just too much and we ended up having to gas up right before the sisters. Anyone remember being stuck on those mountains 16 years ago (has it really been that long?) in a bus that ran out of gas? ;) I wasn't about to repeat that with 5 kids in the car. We were close though and it kept us awake and entertained!

So instead of counting the hours and miles, we are counting our blessings!
It is always worth the drive!
Thanks to everyone for a great weekend!

Is that the tooth that was driving her crazy?
