Family Home Evening, End of Soccer and Loss of Wisdom!

Coming up with a title for a catch all post is really hard. ;) Matt was gone all of last week, but luckily we had plenty of people to hang out with to make the week go a little smoother. My anxiety level went up a little higher each day with him being gone until Thursday night and then me working myself up to getting all 4 wisdom teeth out on Friday morning.

The week was busy with Kaylee and Taylor's last soccer games. They both had a ton of fun! They had the best coaches and tons of friends on their teams! Taylor had 2 girls from our ward and Kaylee's team was the 25th ward soccer team! ;)

Check out Kaylee's AWESOME coaches!! ;) They are THE best!!

This was on one of Kierra's happier days watching soccer!

Monday night was really fun! Matt's brother and his family invited us out for a picnic and some kickball. Provo canyon is SOO beautiful this time of year. As you can see the girls got a hold of my camera and had some fun! I'm so glad they did. We hang out with this family all of the time and so I often forget to get pictures of all the fun things we do!

On Wednesday night Monica and Katelyn brought over the best taco soup ever and then Thursday Monica came and hung out with me at the soccer game and took a cranky Kierra and calmed her right down. It was one of those moments you love and hate at the same time; you know, like when you are with your kids all day long and as soon as they don't get their way they call for Daddy. Grrr! Kierra was just throwing fit after fit for me until Monica picked her up and she calmed right down and laid her head on Monica's shoulder. Ohhh I was not happy--how come I didn't get sweet cuddles like that?! Actually I was very happy to have Monica around to help out and to also bring a meal for my family again the next day! We all love Monica and Katelyn!

So now, I'm sitting in a quiet home between sessions of General Conference. Matt took the girls up to Kemmerer to visit his parents and his sister who is there from Cheyenne. It was great to listen to a wonderful session without any interruption!! I do miss my family though, especially Matt. I really haven't been able to hang out with him for a week. Yesterday didn't really count, because yes he had the day off, but I wasn't up for doing anything. Here is my attempt at taking pictures of my scary looking self. I don't know if you can see the bruising that is happening. I feel pretty good though. I had lots of good friends that scared me to death with their stories, so I was expecting the worst! ;) The best part of it is my current meal plan: Banana pudding with whipped topping, chocolate slimfast shakes mixed with bananas and ice and hmmm...I think I'm gonna go grab a bowl of ice cream for the next session of conference. Nothing warm sounds good yet, but I will put some healthy soup and/or oatmeal down sometime today. ;)

We had a great week with you! I think little Miss Kierra caught us all by surprise!

Wisdom teeth removal is not fun! But, I can assure you, you WILL NOT lose any of your vast amounts of wisdom in the event! ;) Glad that you are able to enjoy yummy foods, guilt-free for awhile anyway! Take care!

I hope that you start feeling better soon. I still have my wisdom teeth and am wondering if I should ever get them taken care of. We'll see. Have a bowl of ice cream for me.

You poor thing. I feel like a bad neighbor. I didn't know Matt was out of town and I didn't know you had your wisdom teeth pulled. I'm out of town but will be back tomorrow, I will call and see what I can do for you. Start thinking! :)

The bruise looks awesome! I am so glad that it went better than you expected - even though it is no fun at all...

What fun things you guys get to do! Well, except the wisdom teeth! I'm so sorry. Looks like you are doing pretty well though!

I was so miserable after having mine out, I was in so much pain and so sick. Brad had to put yogurt on my lips and then I had to lick it off. That was the only way I could eat for days.
