End of Summer, Beginning of Routine!!

Wow!! We had a great summer! It was busy with lots of excitement! Believe it or not I was excited to set the alarm the last two mornings because that means we are going to be in a routine. It also means that TJ is sleeping well enough that I feel like getting up when an alarm goes off! The girls had a GREAT 1st day and I can't wait 'till they get home to start the weekend!

The girls were very excited a couple of weeks ago when they heard the classes were posted at the school. We jumped right in the van with some friends to see who Kaylee and Taylor would have for teachers and to see what friends they'd have! They both lucked out big time with the friends they get to be with. They are very excited!!

So, here they are on the first day!!

We sent them off on their bikes, then drove ourselves to the school to get more pictures!

They found lots of friends right away!!

And check out the picture of Kaylee below. For those of you that know those cute girls, can you believe those 3 are all in the same class together?! Talk about a party!! Taylor also got to be with some great friends. Below is her friend from gymnastics and then she was very excited that her desk was directly facing her other friend that lives a couple of doors down.

Here is Taylor listening to her teacher as they are walking in. I have heard nothing but good things about both of their teachers!!

And of course we had to take pictures of the 2nd day of school too! I sure miss my girls, but I am very excited that they are having fun with friends and learning so much from amazing teachers! I know they will do so well!

One reason I will really miss the girls is because they have been such great helps with TJ. Right after the girls left that first day we came right in and gave this boy a bath. We are afraid he is a puker. He's not nearly as bad as Kaylee was, but it still stinks--literally.

Numbered List

So, hello routine and goodbye to a wonderful summer!! Here are the girls with their summer literacy center tutors. Emily's tutor has had all of the girls and made that green blanket for TJ. She is truly amazing and Emily is really looking forward to going to her class again in a couple weeks!

We took one last trip to Laramie last weekend. Matt had a company picnic there and my future sister-in-law had her bridal shower. Isn't she the cutest! We are very excited for Morgan and Jackson and their family!

We got to see Grandpa for a couple of hours on his pit stop from the Western Regionals in San Bernardino to the Little League World Series in Williamsport. Someday TJ will really appreciate the souvenirs!!

Hopefully even with school starting we can still enjoy lazy Sunday afternoons...

...and more visits with cousins!

Of course there will always be dancing and gymnastics in this house. Soccer also started up which has been so fun! I haven't taken pictures of that yet, but I will. The girls took dance lessons again from the same girls they took from last year. It is fun for them to just ride their bikes down the street twice a week and do something fun together. Although it was kinda crazy, I hope they will have more times of being cute and dolled up for a dance or music recital and then changing and running to some sort of sports practice or game! I love to watch how much fun they have in all that they do!!

These last 2 videos are a little long and hard to see. Maybe I'll have the girls do the "shrek dance" in our living room for a closer and better picture.
