Yep!! That's the only way to put it! Ready or not...here it is and I'm about to blog ALL about it!! :)
To start this crazy May stuff on the right foot I needed a weekend away to be spiritually fed and just hang out with the girls!! We had a such a great time at Women's Conference! It was just the 4 of us, but we were still able to catch up with everyone at dinner on Thursday night! I LOVE women's conference! 2 days of self reflection, service and classes about teaching our children to love the scriptures, missionary work, becoming Christlike, Never checking our religion at the door NOT EVER, Prayer, even menu and meal planning (but definitely not a financial class! he he!) ;) We even broke some sort of Guinness Book of world records record...or something...for singing Row row row your boat in a round! I have the video below! :)
The theme of the whole conference was Doctrine and Covenants 100:12 "Therefore, continue your journey and let your hearts rejoice; for behold, and lo, I am with you even unto the end." I am thankful for these friends of mine...so beautiful inside and out...who help me so much through this journey! I learn so much from them and love them like sisters! Thanks for a wonderful weekend girls! :)
Also in May we took a quick trip to what we endearingly call Rawlins, America! :) Matt's brother is the last one of Matt's family to leave Rawlins. He was able to baptize his boy...the kids' cousin. It was fun to see family...even if it was a really quick visit! My girls LOVE their cousins, aunts, uncles, Grandma, Grandpa. Lots of laughter and fun times!
May was full of some big activities that I will blog about in the next 4 posts, but it was also still full of the simple things like Library Story Time:
Playing dress up with Mom's old prom and homecoming dresses:
Trips to the Park, waiting for sisters to ride home from school:
Dinner group activities with new friends:
And of course Mother's Day!
My parents were here for Mother's Day weekend which was so perfect! My girls love both of their Grandma's so much! Their Grandma's make them feel soooo loved and special! We are always happy to be around them and I am especially thankful for my mom and for all that she does for me and for my family! At the end of May our family was camping out of cell range for a whole weekend and as we came down out of the mountain and our phones started beeping again, this picture of my parents coming out of the Logan temple popped up! I am so thankful for my mom's strength and her testimony and her example of unconditional love and service to others. We love the spirit that she always brings with her into our home! It was a wonderful Mother's Day....a perfect break from all the May Mayhem! My kids and hubby spoiled us pretty good! :) (I wish I had gotten Matt and my Dad in the Mother's Day picture below! I do LOVE the picture though with my mom, me and the kiddos! Maybe next time boys!) :)
