LCC Spring Musicals

The girls did so great in their mini musicals this year! And one huge highlight was that Kierra got to perform in 1 of the 3 shows. Because she watches her older sisters so much, this girl always knows the shows so well, so when one girl had to be gone for the opening night Kierra stepped right in as one of the 3 little maids! This was her huge debut, BUT because it was opening night and Catherine and I were busy, I didn't get ANY pictures of her in the actual show. I had left my camera in the back room :( HOWEVER...opening night was the night that we had it professionally done! So Kierra will forever be on that video with her sisters!

The younger girls did the show "3 of a Kind". Taylor was one of the 3 billy goats gruff, Emily was the baker...of 3 men in a tub, and like I said, Kierra was part of the 3 little maids from school!

I got a couple of videos where you can see Emily and Taylor at the same time:

And then some pictures:

Kaylee...I have no idea why I didn't get video of you :( I had the hardest time keeping my camera with me. But I did get this great shot of you with your 6 year trophies!! :)

Kaylee made the best MOM ever in the older choir's show "It's Saturday!" Dale did such a great job choreographing this (remember?) and it went off every night without a hitch! These kids were sooooo fun to watch!

Book Club...10 Year Anniversary

I've only lived here 9 years, but I still get to be part of May's 10 year celebration of THE BOOK CLUB!!

I've stolen pictures from a couple of you, and really what I want to do is steal all of the wording from Heather's Blog Post! She explained everything sooooo perfectly!!

GIRLS!! How did we not get one picture with all of us in it for this big celebration?! We tried to do something funny and cool here, but the machine took our money and our humiliation! Just imagine 5 of us crammed in that booth (one of us 20 weeks pregnant!) :)

Instead of group shots I have 4 of us here:

And the same picture with me, Ilene and Tiffany, but with Heather instead of Kelly:

Here is one picture to prove that Steph was there:

And the ever stunning Erin: (who was trying to decide what to wear to the black tie affair with her award winning, principal of the year, husband)

We had big plans for a big getaway but with so much family stuff going on our retreat was a 2 night hotel stay in Orem.

We ate:

And Shopped:

And ate and shopped some more. We were able to visit Kelly's mom who looked so great even while battling cancer. We were glad that she was feeling pretty good, and we had a great time visiting with her. We painted nails. Had fashion shows. Talked. Laughed. And did I mention eating and shopping?! It was a wonderful weekend together with some amazing friends! And since we failed to get a group shot...we'll just have to do another retreat! SOON! :)

End of School

With the girls just finding out who their new teachers will be and the beginning of a new school year quickly approaching I'm happy to finally blog about the end of LAST school year!

May Mayhem can be kinda crazy, but we held on tight through the dance recitals, gymnastics meets and other things and this is what he had left to do!

Crazy Hair Days!

Saying good-bye to broken lunch boxes

A couple more projects

Class programs

Saying bye to great friends!

And teacher gifts

I didn't get a picture of Kaylee's finished quillo, but it looked just like Emily's.

And then saying good-bye before the last ride to school!
Thomas and Kierra always loved being up and saying good-bye to their sisters (and to Courtney...our riding buddy!) :)

Thomas and Kierra always loved to ride to the corner with the girls!

You girls are amazing! You have accomplished so much! I looked forward every day to the things you'd bring home and the projects that we worked on! You girls are so independent and good at getting your work done right away so that we can play!
We miss you when you are gone, but LOVE when you come home!

Your teachers were amazing!

Kaylee...4th grade...Mrs. Billings

Taylor...3rd grade...Mrs. Blake

Emily...1st grade...Mrs. Penrod

Taylor's Spring Exhibition

Taylor is really starting to take off with her gymnastics and we are excited about it. Here was her exhibition meet which isn't much different than her Think Pink meet in February, but I'll post the videos anyway. She is very excited to start competing in the fall! She is quite the gymnastigirl! :)
